line-length

New Settings Since v0.1.0

Linter: a line is at most the configured number of characters.

Example#

doc.md:

This sentence keeps going well past the limit of one hundred and twenty characters, so it is hard to read side by side in a diff.

markright check reports:

doc.md:1: line is 129 characters, limit 120 (line-length)
markright: 1 issue(s)

Fixed:

This sentence stops before the limit of one hundred and twenty characters
and goes on on the next line.
